Austin Songcore

ASC began in 2022 after one of our co-founder, Josh, returned from a trip to Nashville, where he was inspired by watching writers rounds. He wanted to bring a similar style of events to Austin and provide a unique listening room where artists could share their songs and stories with a captive audience and audiences could connect with artists in a new way. The Austin Songwriter Community is a non-profit organization founded by musicians. We host events designed to foster Community, Collaboration, and Creative Excellence within the Austin songwriter community. In 2025, we hope to continue growing, supporting songwriters, reaching new audiences, and expanding our ability to support emerging artists both in Austin and beyond.
