Deep Ellum Art Company Presents: Lake Highlands School of Music Spring Showcase
Ben's Rags is the student band from Lake Highlands School of Music (LHSM). Ben's Rags was created in 2018 and has graced stages such as the Dallas Arboretum Amphitheater, the Wine Therapist, Oak Highlands Brewery, Oktoberfest Dallas, and Vector Brewing Company. They also play local private events like auctions and parties. The unique outfit is led by superb local musician and drummer Joe James. The concert will feature 8 different student bands from LHSM. Joe leads six of the bands while local guitarist and teacher extraordinaire Spencer Kenney leads another two bands. Join us for a fun Sunday of talented students playing an assorted selection of covers and hits.
The Lake Highlands School of Music Performance Program is all about helping students grow into confident musicians, and our upcoming concert is the perfect way to celebrate their hard work. With an electrifying lineup of rock, pop, RnB, and classic hits, this is sure to be an incredible night for friends, family, and faculty to enjoy! It is the culmination of what we offer at LHSM.
