2025 Troubadour Festival | Aggieland, TX
Troubadour Festival, a Texas BBQ & Music Experience, is headed back to the heart of Aggieland at Texas A&M University's Aggie Park on Saturday, May 17.
We're showcasing dozens of Texas Barbecue's best pitmasters and restaurants, plus live Texas Country music on two stages for a killer third event at beautiful Aggie Park. It all returns with LOWER TICKET PRICES IN 2025!
Troubadour Festival 2025 will feature 25 of the best barbecue joints from across Texas that will sample as much tasty smoked meats as you can handle. That's not all -- NEW IN 2025! Along with our friends at 44 Farms, we're proud to present the first-ever Meat Church & Friends Live Fire Experience. Meat Church Pitmaster/CEO Matt Pittman is teaming up with four other titans of Texas Barbecue to showcase their live fire skills on several different types of cookers -- and you'll get to try it all!

Troubadour Festival Aggieland will be headlined by Texas powerhouses Shane Smith & The Saints! They'll be joined by legends Randy Rogers and Wade Bowen on their Hold My Beer & Watch This Tour, 49 Winchester, Josh Meloy, and Hudson Westbrook on the Wood Stage Sponsored by Optimum. We'll also have Tyler Halverson, Jacob Stelly, and JoJo DiSalvo on the YMCA of the Brazos Valley Stage.
Troubadour Festival now has four ticket levels: Troubadour VIP, BBQ & Music, the all-new Music VIP, and Music. Here's the rundown on what is included with each ticket:
Troubadour VIP (12:00 PM entry): VIP tickets include a dedicated VIP entrance with hour-earlier entry (12:00 PM) into the BBQ sampling that includes samples (with shorter lines!) from all participating BBQ joints and the live fire experience that lasts until 3:30 PM. You'll also receive an exclusive festival t-shirt and access to an exclusive VIP grove at Aggie Park with a private bar where your first two beers are on us, flushable and air-conditioned bathrooms, and standing room-only access in front of the stage. Additional food will be available from local food trucks and any BBQ restaurants that choose to sell food after 3:30 PM. Some seating will be provided, but you may also bring a basic folding chair to sit in designated areas.
Troubadour BBQ + Music (1:00 PM entry): The best of both worlds! Troubadour BBQ + Music tickets include access to both the BBQ and concert aspects of the festival. This includes samples from all participating BBQ joints and the live fire experience that lasts until 3:30 PM, and access to the concert. Food will be available for purchase from local food trucks, as well as any BBQ restaurants that choose to sell food after 3:30 PM. Access is allowed in all general admission areas, including to the front of the stage in the GA standing room-only area. You may bring a basic folding chair to sit in designated areas.
**NEW** Troubadour Music VIP (3:45 PM entry): Want the luxuries of a VIP ticket but want to attend only the concert? The Troubadour Music VIP ticket is right up your alley. An extremely limited number of these tickets will be available. Enjoy all the perks of a VIP ticket -- an exclusive VIP section with a cash bar, complimentary festival t-shirt and two beers, flushable and air-conditioned bathrooms, and standing room-only access in front of the stage -- without access to the barbecue sampling. Food will be available for purchase from local food trucks and any BBQ restaurants that choose to sell food after 3:30 PM. Some seating will be provided, but you may also bring a basic folding chair to sit in designated areas.
Troubadour Music (3:45 PM entry): A Troubadour Music ticket is good for the concert only (3:45 PM gates open). BBQ SAMPLES NOT INCLUDED. Access is allowed in all general admission areas, including access to front of the stage in the GA standing room-only area. Food will be available for purchase from local food trucks and any BBQ restaurants that choose to sell food after 3:30 PM. You may bring a basic folding chair to sit in designated areas.
A limited number of discounted BBQ & Music and Music tickets will be available for students, active and retired military, first responders, and educators.
