Draft Picks: Whisk - featuring Damaris

Each month, the Highball hosts a Sunday residency for an Alamo staff band and other local bands they like. The month of April will be curated by Whisk!

7p - Damaris is a 5-piece rock band based in Austin, TX, led by front woman, Damaris Swails. Vocal focused and heavily inspired by 90's and early 2000's rock, DAMARIS has drawn comparisons to Alanis Morissette, Janis Joplin, Hole, and Garbage. 

8p - Whisk is promoting their upcoming single, Spider Census, which will be streaming soon (pre-save it here). Fronted by Emily Gritsman, Whisk channels bubble grunge into their performative rock and roll stylings in Austin between writing and recording sessions.
