Michael Haaga came to local prominence as a founding member and the singer/guitarist of Houston's Dead Horse. The band released two demos and two albums with Haaga in the group between 1988 and 1992.
After leaving Dead Horse in 1996, Haaga formed The Demonseeds. The group released Knee Deep in Hell's Grasp in 1999 and disbanded the next year. Haaga subsequently joined Superjoint Ritual, playing bass and contributing backing vocals.
He will be performing an acoustic show at the legendary Old Quarter on May 17, 2025
