SOUTHBOUND 441

DOORS AT 7PM - SHOW AT 8PM

INDOOR SHOW, ALL AGES

FACEBOOK EVENT / SPOTIFY / INSTAGRAM

What originally started as a cover band for college parties has since evolved into the leading force behind Gainesville, Florida's re-emerging alternative scene.

Southbound 441 exploded onto the scene in 2022 and immediately left fans, magazines, and news stations blown away by their shockwave. The band, led by Grant Schmid's commanding choruses, features Zane Borenstein's intense guitar
solos, Noah Borenstein's harmonious guitar duels, Myles Salustro's vibrant bass lines, and Cole Brook's intricate drum work.

Their sound lies between 90s rock and experimental metal. On closer examination, the influences shaping their sound span a broad spectrum-from Superheaven and Alice in Chains to Dream Theater, Deftones, Tool, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and even psychedelic-surf bands like Ocean Alley. Southbound 441 characterizes their music as "relaxed-aggression," blending mellow verses with powerful, chaotic choruses and outros that sonically knock the listener out from under their feet.
