Texas Luau And Sunset Watching , Friday May 16th At 7:00PM
Join our annual Texas Luau and Wine celebration on Friday, May 16th at 7pm in the Pavilion at Blue Ostrich Winery. Enjoy a chef prepared meal and a gorgeous sunset over the Blue Ostrich Vineyard, featuring the traditional lighting of the tiki torches. Gentlemen, wear your favorite Hawaii style shirt, and ladies you wear something tropical as well for the chance to win some fun door prizes.
In addition to the evening's polynesian inspired dinner menu, admission to our May 16th Texas Luau includes two drinks:
- A welcome Mai Tai rum cocktail served at check in accompanied by an amuse-bouche of bacon topped shrimp with pineapple.
- Glass of soon to be released Blue Ostrich 2023 Vin Blanc when seated at your reserved table. ​Additional wine available for purchase by the glass or by the bottle throughout the evening.
DINNER MENU:
- FIRST COURSE: Cheesy Edamame Crostini. Farmer's cheese, parmesan, lemon, basil, olive oil and savory edamame beans.
- SECOND COURSE: Lomi Lomi Salmon. A traditional Hawaiian favorite of flame seared smoked salmon combined with fresh tomato, green & white onion served in crisp lettuce cup and accompanied with purple taro chips.
- MAIN COURSE: Kalua Pork. The earthy and smokey flavors of tender shredded pork served on jasmine rice. Side serving of classic Asian cabbage salad loaded with toasted almonds and firm ramen noodles tossed with seasoned rice vinegar dressing.
- DESSERT: Coconut Ice Cream Pie with chopped macadamia nuts.

This event is 21 and over. No groups larger than four will be seated together. If you would like to sit with another couple who is purchasing their dinner package separately, you can call us at 940-995-3100 and specify who you'd like to be seated with that evening. This is a prix fixe menu. We are unable to accommodate substitutions the night of the event. No dogs please.
