La Mafia is an iconic Tejano music band from Houston, Texas. Founded in 1978 by brothers Oscar de la Rosa and Carmen de la Rosa, the legendary group has won multiple awards and accolades, including five Grammy Awards.
La Mafia's style is a mix of traditional Mexican music like ranchera and corrido combined with elements of American pop and rock. This new blend of music created a unique sound that resonated with fans worldwide.
La Mafia has been inducted into both the Tejano Music Hall of Fame and the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame.
