Power Word Kill: Album Release Show

 Power Word Kill is an original hard rock band from Oklahoma City. 

Power Word Kill is:

Lloyd Lee Barnett - Vocals, Guitar, Keyboard

Elijah Stole – Drums, Vocals, 

Ian Burns - Lead Guitar 

Alex Bernbaum – Bass, Vocals

Power Word Kill became fully manifest in 2024 with the addition of Alex. With a cauldron of songs and a compulsion to record. The January 2025 self titled debut release, Power Word Kill, was conjured at Leon Russell's The Church Studios in Tulsa. It was engineered and co-produced by the band, Gary Laney, and Mike Prado.

With the tracks for their first release in the can and distributed, the band is kicking off a series of shows in the region and beyond before returning to the studio for their 2nd Album EP to be released early 2026. 

The players have played all over the west, in various bands from L.A. to Oklahoma. The music has been described as visual, theatrical, original, melodic, and heavy, with an emphasis on story.
