Brittany Bishop grew up a barefoot kid on The Poor Fork ranch deep in the heart of Texas. The soundtrack to her childhood consisted of country greats such as Hank Williams Sr. and George Strait playing by her crib each night. She picked up the guitar at age 14, inspired by the love of country crooners her mother had instilled in her. By age 16 she was already touring with a western swing band, and from the first bar stage she set foot on she knew she would pursue that feeling forever.
