Fire In The Mountains Fundraiser Party w/ Wayfarer & George Cessna

Denver, Colorado's WAYFARER are Black Metal of the American West, and esteemed alumni of Fire In The Mountains from the beginning. This show celebrates the ten year anniversary of the band performing the inaugural Fire In The Mountains event in Teton county, and has them returning to the Mangy Moose for a blistering set of Western-tinged black metal, and celebrating the return of heavy metal to Jackson, WY. Riding high off of touring the US and Europe extensively on the acclaimed release of AMERICAN GOTHIC, which snagged high honors from publications such as Rolling Stone and Decibel Magazine - WAYFARER ride in with dust and fury to bring the house down in support of Fire In The Mountains, a Jackson based business.

 

GEORGE CESSNA represents the Denver Sound of Country and Western Music, presenting a solo performance after his appearance at the 2022 festival with local favorites SNAKES. Dusty, twangy, and with a touch a of rock 'n roll sensibilities - George Cessna brings the sound of the west with high level songwriting and on-stage swagger. A member of Slim Cessna's Auto Club, and son of Denver legend Slim Cessna himself - George returns to a FITM event stage for a set Jackson won't soon forget.

 

Join us for a night of heavy metal riffing and twanging songs of dust and thunder, in support of FIRE IN THE MOUNTAINS - a festival rising to worldwide prestige, that was born right here in Teton County.
