Born in a boomtown (Houston, Texas) at the height of the baby-boom (October 12, 1953) I am a product of my moment in space/time.
My musical influences began with gospel sung in church. Mom's kitchen radio was always tuned to pop stations during the day, or she would play the soundtracks of musicals. I began playing during the "folk-scare" that filled the space between Buddy and The Beatles.
