THE PRODUCERS
The Producers - June 21 - June 30
Mel Brooks's 2001 musical, The Producers, is a comedic adaptation of his 1968 film. It follows Max Bialystock, a fading Broadway producer, and his unlikely partner, accountant Leo Bloom. Together, they hatch a scheme to produce the worst musical ever, aiming to profit from its failure. However, their plan goes awry when the intentionally terrible show becomes an unexpected hit. Filled with Brooks's signature humor, memorable musical numbers, and a colorful cast of characters, The Producers has been delighting audiences with its farcical charm since its debut. It's a hilarious romp through the world of Broadway, where the best-laid plans often lead to unexpected outcomes.
**This production contains satirical content, including themes related to Nazis, social commentary, and sexual innuendo, which may be considered provocative or offensive to some individuals.
