Oklahoma Rainbow Awards Gayla

The Rainbow Awards Gayla was established to recognize local and state leaders, change-makers, activists and community groups and organizations who are working to make a difference for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. 

A brief description of the Rainbow Awards Categories:

Hot Pink // Sex - Those committed to sex education and sex positivity for our community.  

Red // Life - Those who are committed to the preservation and protection of life.  

Orange // Healing - Those who play a vital role in helping our community and its members heal, grow, and thrive. 

Yellow // Sunlight-Visibility - Those who bring the much-needed gift and hope of sunlight to our community.  

Green // Nature, Environmentalism, Conservation  Those dedicated to leaving a lasting impact in the realm of nature, environmentalism, and/or conservation.  

Turquoise // Magic, Art, Drag, Creatives - Those committed to making magic happen for our community via their incredible art and creativity. 

Indigo // Serenity - Those who bring the peace and calmness of serenity to the fight for our community. 

Violet // Spirit - Those who embody the resilient spirit of our community. They inspire others through their authenticity, strength, and the powerful way they uplift our community.

The night will feature speakers, award winners, performances by local talent, food, and fun! Theme: Queer Renaissance
