Decked in denim & toting an Allsup's burrito, Texas Country artist Race Ricketts is the mouth piece of the 940 area code he proudly calls home. Within a year, Ricketts has hit #1 on 95.9 The Ranch's music chart while charting several other singles in the top 10 without releasing a full length album (yet!) His songwriting (& wardrobe) influences include Guy Clark, Jason Isbell, & the Drive-By Truckers which is apparent in singles like 940 & Ricketts' staple jean button down. Beyond Young County, Ricketts is also part of a powerhouse trio with Presley Haile & Nick Brumley. The three are known for smooth harmonies, exemplary & award-winning songwriting, & the ability to truly stop time with their captivating vocal cords.
